Lane Lechner

Lane "Red" Lechner, age 21, truck #122 driver, Andale Construction, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. Visitation 1-8 PM Wednesday, with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Funeral service 10 AM Thursday, Rose Hill Christian Church, 314 N. Rose Hill Rd. Lane was born October 7, 1995, in Wichita. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie & Maxine Lechner and Jim Rexroat. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Kyle & Monet Lechner, of Park City; mother and stepfather, April & Steve Hyson, of Hutchinson; girlfriend, Jennie Rust, of Wichita; brothers, Joshua Knackstedt, and Brett Lechner (Samantha), all of Wichita; grandmother, Karen Ash, of Wichita; and great-grandmother, Dorothy Naylor, of Wichita.
