Lakin Wilson

Wichita - Lakin Wilson, 34, passed away August 09, 2025. They were born February 03,1991 to Joe Wilson and Yvonne Allen in Wichita, KS.

Lakin was a fun loving, bubbly soul that always brought smiles to those who they were around. They loved to write books and short stories with friends, as well as painting, drawing and crocheting for their loved ones. Lakin spent early childhood riding horses and barrel racing with their beloved horse Wrangler. Family was very important to Lakin, always finding time to help and hang out with those they loved, never leaving without a big hug. They spent time loving many pets, Rescue, Kodie, Gracie, Link and so many more found a forever home with Lakin. All those who knew Lakin were blessed with so much laughter and love.

They were preceded in death by Uncle Johnny Halverson, Grandpa Roger Morgan, Grandpa Jan Wilson.

Lakin is survived by their parents; Joe Wilson & Step Mom Rebecca Wilson, Yvonne Allen & Step Dad Gary Allen. Siblings: Sydney Roeder, Shayla Roeder; Step Siblings: Courtney and Larkin Feikert, Olivia Allen and Lauren Allen. Partners: Lin Perkins and Ag Barber; along with other numerous family and friends.
