Kristen Marie Thomas

Thomas, Kristen, 29, was reunited in Heaven with her son, Mickey, on Saturday, January 11, 2014. Kristy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Visitation 4-8 Tuesday, at Smith Family Mortuary; funeral service 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Pleasantview Baptist Church, 1335 N. Buckner, Derby. Survived by husband Joel; children Makenzie (9) and Gabriel (6); parents Lori and Craig Kilian and Dan and Jane Ronk; siblings Bryan (Julie) Ronk, Justin (Samantha) Ronk, Rhiannon (Doug) Robertson, Steven Kilian; grandmothers Betty Bryan and Gail Ronk; and numerous extended family members. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation, 6240 W. 135th St., Overland Park, KS 66209.
