Kimberly June Haynes was a bright light to all who knew her. She would call or text people simply to ask how she could pray for them. She was always happy and always laughing, finding joy in everything.
Despite her many health issues, Kimberly diligently and untiringly expanded her knowledge of the most essential of all topics; God’s Word. She was in the course of study to become an ordained Deacon. She served as church board secretary up until she was elected to be the local missionary president and thus a board member. For years, Kim did powerpoint for Udall Church of the Nazarene services, sang special songs and played tambourine. She was a prayer warrior who prayed over every pew before services. She was a gifted preacher and always had a sermon ready.
Kimberly, here on earth, was a living example of what a citizen of Heaven is. She is now living in her eternal home, making eternal friends and worshiping her beloved Savior; finally and forever home. She will be missed by those whose lives were made better by her loving and caring devotion; but for those of us who have chosen to accept Jesus’s sacrifice as the perfect and only way to God and Heaven, it is “See you later!” and not goodbye.
Kim was preceded in death by her mother Marcella Haynes, and survived by her father, Merle Haynes (Lois Rose) of Wichita; her brother Kevin (Susanna) of Portage, Michigan; brother Kurtis (Susanne) of Wichita; as well as nephews and niece John, Jonathan, Joshua, Jerrod, Jordan, Jasmine and Jacob.
