Kimberly Confer

Kimberly "Kim" Renee (Gibson) Confer, 49, went to God on Easter Sunday, 8 April 2012 surrounded by friends and family. Kim was born 14 June 1962 to Bobby O. and Betty Lou Gibson in Wichita, Kansas. She graduated from South High School in 1980. She was married to Christie L. Confer, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania on 26 September 1992 and they resided in Peck, Kansas. Kim was a licensed cosmetologist. She was previously employed at Fantastic Sams, Beech Aircraft and most recently spent over 16 years at Cessna Aircraft. She leaves behind those that loved her so, husband, Chris; mother and father, Betty Lou and Bobby O. Gibson; sister, Tammy Lou Boes and her husband Michael; three nephews she loved dearly, Tanner, Trinidy and Tucker Boes; extended family and some dearest of friends. Kim will be greatly missed by Hershey, Shiloh and Buddy. Viewing: 2-8pm Wednesday with family present 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Rosary: 7pm Thursday with funeral Mass at 10am Friday, 13 April 2012, both at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 11000 S. W. Blvd., Wichita. Father Andy Kuykendall will officiate.
