The world has lost a great man. On January 8, 2022, Kevin Lingafelter left this world at the age of 66. He was a loving father to four kids (& many more). Kevin was born April 21, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, to CE & Eva Lingafelter. He attended East High School before attending some college and beginning his career as a Quality Control Engineer at Coleman. During this time he had a son, Zachary Dry, with girlfriend Gwenda. While working at Coleman, he met & married his wife, Paula. They were married September 21, 1985. Together they raised their three kids, Megan, Kasi & Tanner. After departing from Coleman, Kevin worked for years in the HVAC field before starting his own business. He had a passion for helping people, almost to a fault. He always put others’ needs before his own. He was an avid history buff, and member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, participating in war reenactments. Kevin was a tinkerer & could fix anything. He loved frequenting thrift stores for watches that needed repair. He has been described as “one of the smartest men I know” by many. The world won’t be the same without him. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Chlorus & Eva Lingafelter; brothers Marshall & Alan; Son Zachary; nephew Eric; friend Rick, & grand-dogs Shatzee & Chevy. He is survived in death by his wife Paula; children Megan (Josh), Kasi & Tanner (Ariel); brothers Larry, Danny & Damon; many nieces & nephews; grand-dogs Brownie & Shelby; good friends Jim (Kathy), Jan, Pam, & countless more.
