Kevin Michael Brady, 52, of Mulvane, KS, passed away on June 23, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer.
Kevin was born on May 30, 1973, to James (Mike) and Beverly Brady in Wichita, KS. After graduating from Derby High School in 1991, he received an associate’s degree from Cowley County Community College. He then attended the University of Kansas and later went on to earn his Bachelor of Music Education at Wichita State University in 2000. He continued his education at WSU and received a Master of Music Performance in 2005.
During his high school and collegiate days, Kevin followed in familial footsteps by participating in the youth activity Drum and Bugle Corps, choosing to march with the Troopers from Casper, WY, from 1987 to 1994. While marching with the Troopers, he performed all over the United States, parts of Canada, on the steps of the U.S. Capital, and in the Inaugural parade for President Clinton. He also made friendships that would last a lifetime.
After graduating, Kevin continued to work for the company he started working for while in high school, Dillons Food Stores, in Customer Service. It was at Dillons that Kevin would meet his wife of over 21 years, Jennifer (Parcell). They were married in 2004. He later took a job working for Cox Communications in the Customer Advocate Group, supporting home, business, and security services and remained with the company for 13 years.
Kevin and Jennifer had three children: daughter Bailey, son Liam, and daughter Karson. Kevin was a dedicated father and husband who balanced his work and home life to support his family. To continue his love of music performance, he became a member of the Midian Shriners band and also performed at holiday church services in the Wichita, KS area.
Kevin was predeceased by his mother, Beverly Brady. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his children, his father Mike Brady; his sister Erin Brady; and his maternal grandmother.
