Kenneth John Simons

Kenneth Simons was born on July 25, 1933, in Cleo Springs, Oklahoma, to Everett and Thelma Simons (Beckner). He passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his first wife, Valeta Kay Simons (Goodwin); his siblings, Gene, Jim, Carl, and Martha; and his two sons, Greg Simons and Kevin Simons.

He is survived by his wife, Esther Simons (Clarke-Hudson) of Haysville; his sister, Ruth Nightengale of Oklahoma; his daughter, Angie Yarbrough of Arkansas; and his stepdaughter, Laurie Rose (Hudson) Barry, of Wichita.

Kenneth was also blessed with a large and loving family, including 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

He will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, Kansas 67060. Funeral service is 10am Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at Haysville Christian Church, 1306 W Grand Ave, Haysville, KS 67060.
