Kenneth E. McClintock, of Wichita, age 78, entered into his Savior’s loving arms on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Visitation 1-8 PM Saturday, 1-6 PM Sunday, with family present 3-5 PM Sunday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Funeral service 2 PM Monday, November 21, 2011, Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur. Kenny was born May 20, 1933 in Waldron, KS to Maurice and Leo McClintock. He graduated from Attica High School and attended Bible College in New York. At an early age he showed an aptitude for music. He was world renown for his Gospel Music ministry on the piano. During his 60 plus years in Southern Gospel, he appeared with many of the legendary greats such as the Blackwoods and the Statesmen. He played for the Gospel singing Ledbetter family and founded the Master’s Trio and the Calvary Echo’s. He has now joined in Heaven his parents; first wife, Linda L. McClintock; and his son, David P. McClintock. He leaves his loving family, wife, Linda R. McClintock; son, Farrell (Marjorie), of Wichita; stepson, Jarred Stafford, of Wichita; adopted daughter, Mary Thurston, of Wichita; sisters, Veleta Barnhart, of Edmond, OK, and Velda Royce, of Liberal, KS; grandchildren, Donald McClintock, of Nashville, TN, and Aaron and Melissa Morton, both of Wichita; great-grandchildren, Tahnae, Renae and Damon; several nieces and nephews and his extended family, the family of God.
