Kelly Ken Cooper

Cooper, Kelly Ken, 55, died Sunday, June 12, 2011. He was retired from OxyChem working in general maintenance. He was born January 28, 1956 in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Carl and Judy Stauffer Cooper. Kelly was a proud U.S. Marine veteran and an avid KU fan. He enjoyed gardening. Kelly is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his companion, Valerie Unrein of Clearwater; son, Heath Cooper and his wife Candice of Prairie Village, Heather Cooper and her boyfriend Marc Zwygart of Wichita; grandchildren, Madison, Ava, Adyson, Chloe, Caelie; siblings, Carl Cooper (Karen) of Florida, Kathy DelCarpio of Louisiana; Valerie’s children, Erika, Jessica, Jason. Viewing: 4-8pm Wednesday with family greeting friends 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Service: 1pm, Thursday, June 16, 2011, also at Smith Mortuary.
