Hopper, Kayven David, 9, passed away Thursday, November 30th, 2023. He was born May 30th, 2014 to Steven and Kacey Hopper in Omaha, Nebraska.
Kayven was the light and joy of Kacey and Steven’s lives. He was their everything, and he was taken from them far too soon. Kayven was an incredible little boy who lit up the room with his smile and laughter everywhere he went. He was so caring, kind and thoughtful, always ready to help others. He was their “helper boy” and “big bro”. He had the biggest heart.
He enjoyed being in Cub Scouts, karate, going on vacations & adventures with his mom and dad, and playing with friends. He loved swimming, board games, Lego, reading, pretending, being on the farm, trains, and all animals, especially ducks. He collected key chains and rocks. He could find joy and fun in anything and everything he did and everywhere he went.
He loved deeply and was also deeply loved by family and friends. He was the best “lil guy” and will forever be missed.
Survivors include his parents, Steven and Kacey Hopper; grandparents, David and Judy Ferren, and Chris Hopper; aunts and uncles, Trisha and Jeff Eshelman, Alicia and Roy Harr, Andrea and Mark Bell, Jim and Amy Hopper, Cecily and John Ketterer; cousins, Joe Hopper, Sarah Hopper, Taylor and Matt Ward, Hunter Morse, Bailey Morse, Sydney Eshelman, Drake Eshelman, Amelia Bell, Brie Bell and Claire Bell; and his pets, Hazel and Ginger.
