Kaycie Means

On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, Kaycie, 34 years old, found her way into God's graces with her parents by her side. She is survived by many loving individuals, including her parents, John and Toni Means, her older sister, brother, sister-in-law, grandfather, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

A warrior throughout life, whenever Kaycie set her mind to something, she always accomplished her goals. Kaycie graduated from Southeast High School a year early in 2005. She went on to take classes part time at Butler County Community College while going to Cosmetology school full time. In 2006, she earned her Cosmetology license. Kaycie graduated from Butler in 2015 with an Associates in Applied Science and English. In 2016, Kaycie almost lost her life from ARDS due to pneumonia, but God had other plans for her. After surviving ARDS, Kaycie moved to Kansas City to attend mortuary school. She graduated in 2017 and became a licensed Embalmer, Funeral Director, and Crematory Operator in 2019.

Anyone Kaycie crossed paths with in life got to enjoy her quirkiness and unique sense of humor. You couldn't help but laugh and smile after spending time with her.
