Kay E. Tharp

Kay E. Tharp, 62, of Rose Hill, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend lost her battle with brain cancer and was called home Sunday, March 27, 2011. Kay is the daughter of Millie and the late Robert Vinduska, Pilsen, KS. She leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, John David Tharp; daughters, Michelle (Dan) Oliver, Derby, Tiffany (Randy) McKnight, Emily (Darrell) James, and Amanda (Josh Gibson) Tharp, all of Wichita; siblings, Laurie Collins, Carol Sponsel, Lillian Vinduska, Joe Vinduska and Bob Vinduska; numerous nieces and nephews; and the loves of her life, her 15 grandchildren. Kay was an inspiration to all, her laughter and spirit will forever be missed. Visitation 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday with Rosary at 7 PM, Smith Mortuary, Derby.
