Kathy S. Looper, 57, of Wichita, entered the Lord’s presence on February 5, 2022. Kathy was born Jan 2, 1965 in Wichita, to Junior and Euleta Norene (Wagoner). She was a lifelong resident of Wichita and graduated from East High School. Kathy is survived by her mother Euleta, sister Wanda (Craig) Roskam, brother Ron (Lisa), numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by her father, Junior, brother, Jay Lee, and sister Janie (Ball). Kathy loved Jesus and her church family; she was on the peanut brittle team at church, helped in the nursery for two years, and helped as a greeter. She enjoyed helping her mother make candies at Christmas to sell at craft fairs and to friends. Kathy loved animals, and wanted the bird feeder running over for “daddy” red bird and any other feathered friend in need of a meal, the exception was those “beady eye” starlings. She loved her cats and even trained Baby Girl (Dumplin’) to meow five times for her breakfast, even though she couldn’t keep her from jumping up on the kitchen table. Kathy also enjoyed running the vacuum, helping in the garden, raking leaves, and shopping the sale isle at the grocery store. Wah-Hoo was a favorite family game that often became very “spirited” when she repeatedly got took off the board, even if she was winning. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, insisting that the one piece she had been looking for was not there, only to have someone else find it.
