Kathryn Foust

January 16, 1941 — July 15, 2024

Kathryn Eve Foust, born on January 16th, 1941 in Dodge City, Kansas, embarked on her final adventure on July 15th 2024, leaving behind many loved ones and cherished memories.



Survived by her devoted husband, Tom Foust, who stood by her side throughout their journey. She is survived by her loving sister, Judi Kirk, and brother-in-law, Steve Kirk, who have shared a close bond with her throughout the years.



Her daughter, Vivian Mosier, and son-in-law, Dawayne Mosier, were a source of pride and joy in Kathryn’s life. She adored her grandchildren, David and Michael Mosier, and took great delight in their achievements and milestones, bragging about them to anyone who would listen.



In addition to her immediate family, Kathy is survived by her step children: Nancy Sundheim, Janet Woodward, Christie Jacobs, Randy Foust, and Allan Foust. Her extended family includes many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who held special places in her heart.


Kathryn led a life humming with adventure and service to the church, gathering friends like treasures along her path in life. Her vibrant spirit and caring demeanor touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.



In honoring Kathryn’s memory, her friends and family celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, wrong turns, many escapades, and funny moments that will continue to comfort those who were fortunate to have known her.



A memorial service to celebrate Kathryn’s life will be held 10:00 am, Monday, July 29, 2024 at Wichita First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Eureka, Kansas.



In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Wichita First Church of the Nazarenes, 1400 E Kellogg Drive in Kathryn’s honor.



Rest peacefully, Kathryn, knowing your laughter-filled legacy will forever brighten our days and lighten our hearts.
