Kathleen D. Hancock

Derby - Kathleen Dee Hancock 73, died Friday, August 11th, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 12th, 1949 to Dale and June Stearns in Wichita, KS

Kathy attended Haysville schools and was a graduate of Campus High School in 1967. Kathy served as an accountant and bookkeeper with several companies throughout her life and retired from Balco Industries in 2006.

Her passion and love was spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed every trip, sporting event, school play and concert, every momentous moment and fabulous feat.

She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and June Stearns, and her sister-in-law Diane Stearns.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Bill Hancock and her three children Brian Hancock (Shannon) of Edmond, OK, Jeff Hancock (Jennifer) of Manhattan, KS, and Katy Kitterman (Scott) of Derby, KS. As well as her six grandchildren; Kelsie, Brendan, Joey, Brody, Belle, and Dash. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Dalbom, and brother, Gary Stearns.

Memorial Service: 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 16th, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church 324 N Baltimore Derby, Kansas 67037.
