Katherine D. Stephens, 66, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016. She was born July 25, 1950 to George and Margaret Koski in Menahga, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eldon; and brother, Allen. Katherine is survived by her daughter, Trudy (Alan) Ward; grandchildren, Nate (Kirsten) Ward, Matt Ward, and Haley Ward; and great-grandchildren, Troy Ward and Abel Ward. Visitation: Tuesday, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 and 7 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Wednesday, December 28, 2016; all at Smith Family Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, KS 67060. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101.
