Karl E. Hartman

Karl E. “Lucky” Hartman, WWII Navy Veteran, age 89, passed away May 15, 2015. Lucky was a member of the Mulvane UMC, Lions Club, American Legion Post #136, and a past Master for the Mulvane Masonic Lodge #201. Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday, May 19th, family greet 6-8pm at Smith Mortuary- Mulvane, 501 S.E. Louis Blvd. Funeral 2pm Wednesday at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central Ave. Mulvane. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Arleata (Baitey); wife, Shirley; brothers, Elmer and Frank Hartman. Lucky is survived by his son, Kurt Hartman of Mulvane; daughter, Lisa (Sam) Palomaria of Longview, TX; granddaughter, Ashton Palomaria. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the American Legion Post 136, P.O. Box 195, Mulvane, KS and Mulvane Masonic Lodge 201 Af & Am, 104 W. Main St. Mulvane, KS.
