Karen Sue Osburn

Karen Sue Osburn, 64, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016. Karen enjoyed her time as an elementary school teacher, legal assistant, and eventually became the owner and operator of A Good Plumber, Inc. She will be remembered as a warm and selfless soul. She was a perpetual source of laughter and light. Karen was a mother to many, and her passing has created a void none can fill. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 4, at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Karen is survived by her husband, Dale Osburn; children Michael (Gina Stanziano) Dzatko and Tasha (Gabe) McKeever; brother Samuel "Skip" Schuman; step children Brian Osburn and Kelly (James) Bishop; grandchildren Zachary and Macy McKeever, Averi Wright, Corina, Reanna, and Cyerra Bishop; great-granddaughter Amelia Taylor. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Cancer Center of Kansas, 818 N. Emporia Ste. 403, Wichita, KS 67214.
