Karen Sue Johnson

Karen Sue (Riggs)Johnson, passed away in the comfort of her home and family on Sunday, July 12, 2015. She was born January 13, 1937 in Wellington, KS. graduating from Wellington High School in 1954. On November 6, 1955, she married Virgil Johnson moving to Wichita in 1957. Karen was a homemaker who will be remembered for her deep faith. Survivors: husband, Virgil; daughter Tammy Drew (Lyndon); grandson, Derek. Private viewing only. Funeral service: 10am Thursday, July 23, 2015, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca. Graveside service: 2pm Thursday, Sumner Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Wellington, Kansas. The family would like to thank the neighbors, friends and healthcare workers who were so very supportive.
