Kale Kochick of Wichita, KS passed away on May 30th, 2026, at the age of 21.
Born on July 6th, 2004, Kale lived life to the fullest and was known for his love of family, friends and the people who mattered most to him. He had a vibrant spirit and a big heart, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Kale embraced life with enthusiasm and enjoyed making memories with those he loved.
Preceded in death by grand parents Danny and Brenda Sumler, Robert Kochick (Mary) and Linda Kochick, Uncle Carl Sumler and Cousin Daniel Sumler.
Survived by Mother Danita Carmona (Lorenzo) and Father Joe Kochick (Salena), brothers Kaden Kochick, Bret Mills, Brandon Mills, Alex Carmona (Rachel) and sister Isabel Carmona.
Honorary sisters Christina Polous (Chris), Melody Benton (Brandon), neice Miyah Mills, nephews Morgan Mills and Athens Polous, Great Aunts Allie Henderson (Randy) and Mary Kuntz, Aunts Dana and Debra Sumler, and Shannon Taylor (Joe).
He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and carry his spirit with them always.
Though his time here was far too short, Kale’s love, laughter, and unforgettable presence will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Burial will be private.
Post ceremony gathering will be conducted at the Rose Hill Recreational Center until 4 p.m.
A memorial has been established with the Wounded Warriors Project.
