Justin Fortney

Justin Robert Fortney completed his journey in life on December 27, 2018.

Celebration of Life will be Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Council Hill Christian Church, 1268 North Seneca Road, Peck, Kansas 67120.

He is preceded in death by his father, Tony and by sister, Kelsey, an uncle, Kevin and an aunt, Shawna.

Survivors include his wife, Erica; son, Gage and daughter, Harper; mother, Stephanie; dad, Robert; brothers, Dalton, Zach (Jere); grandmother, Vicki; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Ben and Shari; brother-in-law, Zach (Bri); nephew, Rhyker; and niece, Kyaruh; grandparents, Norma and Roger, Jim and Carole; and by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that love Justin dearly.

Justin was a beautiful soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in their times of need. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and friend who will be missed greatly.

Justin was a shop tech at Red Guard. Proud to have a job that he loved and proud to be supporting his wife and children. Being the best Dad he could be to his children was his most important job in life. Any attire that you are comfortable in is what we want you to wear to celebrate Justin. Two of Justin's favorite colors are Texas orange and Army green. We invite anyone to incorporate these in their attire as we honor Justin.

In lieu of flowers, the family has started a memorial fund for Justin and Erica's Children, Gage and Harper. Please check back soon for information regarding the fund. Also, in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you be kind to one another.
