June Carlton

On Thursday, Nov. 15th, 2018, June N. Carlton passed away at 92 years of age. Born 4-26-26 in Rose Hill KS. She attended School in Rose Hill and later in Udall Kansas. She married Max Carlton August 30th, 1943, where they resided in Udall, KS and raised their daughters.

In 1965, they moved to Kansas City MO, built their home, where they spent the rest of their married lives. They were both active members of the United Methodist Church in Udall and Kansas City. In 2011, she moved to Montrose, Colorado until her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Carlton. She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Bennett and husband Ron, Donna Harrington, 4 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, John and Filena Thompson, two brothers, Robert "Bob" Thompson, and Johnny "Bud" Thompson. She is survived by two sisters, Jean Shields, Arlena Ekstrom, and one brother, Roy Thompson.

Services will be held at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd. Derby, KS. on Friday November 23rd at 10:30 a.m.
