Julie Bishop

Rose Hill - Bishop, Julie Diane 61, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021. She was born November 6, 1959 to Leon and Marian (Houseknecht) Yonkin in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Julie was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a faithful public servant, a honorable veteran, and active member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Marian Yonkin.

Julie is survived by her children, Chris (Robbi) Bishop, Sam Bishop, and Nick (Jessica) Bishop; three grandchildren, Rachael, Rebecca, and Lynden; and siblings, John (Susan) Yonkin, Jay (Tim) McMahon, James (Sue) Yonkin, and Jacque (Rory) Traffas.

Rosary: 10:30 am, Friday, April 30, 2021 prior to Funeral Mass. Funeral Mass: 11:00 am, Friday, April 30, 2021, both at St. Mary Catholic Church 2300 E. Meadowlark Derby, KS 67037. Private family interment following memorial service.
