Julia Yanney, 96, homemaker, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, February 15, 2013. She is survived by her son, Douglas Yanney; daughter Judith Shippy and her husband Chet, all of Wichita; siblings, Kenneth Shaheen of Great Bend, Helen Magness of Denver, CO., Martha Rouse of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Vanessa Yanney, David Shippy and his wife Mary, Steven Shippy, Melissa Shippy; great-grandson, Connor Shippy; niece, Susan Gibreal of El Dorado. Julia is preceded in death by her husband Eli and son Terry. Viewing: 3-5pm Monday, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary.
