Julia Ann Russell

Julia Ann Russell 81, died Thursday March 28, 2024. She was born December 19, 1942 to Joseph and Elizabeth Rebold (Le Clair) in McAlester, Oklahoma.

Ann graduated from Udall High School and in 1960 married Jesse Russell Jr. They were married 63 years and had two children Greg and Deann. Most of Ann’s life was spent as a homemaker but worked for Beech Aircraft for 12 years.

Ann loved to play cards, mushroom hunt, go to estate sales, and loved to work in the yard. Ann loved flowers, birds, Sunday dinners with family, and watching her grandchildren play sports. Ann’s favorite thing to say to loved ones was, “love you more.”

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Rebold. She had five brothers that also preceded her in death.

Ann is survived by her husband Jess, son Greg (Buffy)Russell, and daughter Deann Russell Lampe. Ann has eight grandchildren; Gage Lampe, Guner Lampe, Trey Lampe, Connor Lampe, Olivia Lampe, Canon Lampe, Jessica Russell Tompkins (Jordan), and Cale Russell. Ann has four great grandchildren; Bentley Russell, Landry Tompkins, Ryer Lampe, and Romi Lampe.

Ann is survived by one sister Sue Rutter, sister in law Linda Russell, brother in law George Russell(Jan), Steve Russell(Bev), Karen Stiner (Kenneth), and David Russell. Ann also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 2nd, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Family Mortuary Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd. Mulvane, Kansas 67110.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at Ninnescah Cemetery.
