Julia Ann Rose

Julia Rose, 82, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born July 7, 1944 to Edward and Olive Carr (McGettigan) in Morgantown, West Virginia.

She was a kind, gracious, and caring person. She embraced life, loved the Lord, and never said an bad word about anyone. She found comfort in her faith and love of God. She was steeped in faith and lived every day with conviction and purpose.

Preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard A. Rose; brothers, Chuck Carr and Tom Carr; sisters-in-law, Patty Osborne and Alma Blosser; brother-in-laws, Keith Osborne, Joe Waid; nieces, Tiffany Ball and Jackie Marshall. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Richard and daughter, LouAnn Rose. She is also survived by her sister, Diane Waid; sister-in-law, Brenda Rose; nephew, Joseph Waid and his wife, Sheena; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Iris Baker.
