Judy Marie Wayman

Judy Marie (Webster) Wayman, 81, was born December 3, 1942. She passed on December 7, 2023, a Proud Lifetime resident of Mulvane.

Preceded in death by her Devoted Husband, Partner, & Friend Wayne Wayman, daughter Daphne Jo Wayman, brothers Harold, Marvin, Jerry, and sister Odessa Holland. She will be missed by her Loving Family: Sons: Bret (Leslie), Troy (Sherry); Grandchildren Zach (Lisa), Jessica, Mitchell (Jill), Alex (Danielle), Jacob (Regan), Robi, Tomi (Katie); 9 Great Grandchildren. We would be remiss without mentioning her Furry Family, Cats Garfield & Sis.

Judy was a Fantastic cook and made the most unbelievable “Red Cake” Waldorf Astoria Cake. Judy was very athletic before females were considered athletes. Golf became one of her favorite hobbies joining the Winfield Country Club & traveling around the state with the ladies playing in tournaments. Her competitive nature didn’t stop there, it literally permeated every part of her life. Just ask the people closest to her. She will also be remembered of how she lovingly cared for Wayne during his last few years. Their favorite thing to do together was spend time in their Retreat at Beaver Lake. They had decades of enjoyment entertaining family & friends at the lake creating memories to last a lifetime. Some of her most precious times were spent making memories with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation 4-7pm Tuesday, December 12, at Smith Mortuary in Mulvane. Funeral service 10am Wednesday, December 13, at SouthRock Church in Derby. A memorial is established with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
