Mulvane - Shields, Judy Geraldine
69, passed away Friday, May 17th, 2024. She was born August 3rd, 1954 to Robert Eubanks and Josalee Ashcraft Eubanks in Morehead, Mississippi.
Judy and her sister Kelly were raised in Kellyville, OK, graduating from Kellyville High School in 1974. After high school, Judy went on to work in the medical field. In 1977, she married the love of her life, Jack Shields. They resided in the Tulsa area during which their son Jackson and their daughter Ashley were born. Working for Boeing, Jack moved the family to Seattle where Steven was born. Shortly after Boeing relocated the family to the Wichita area, finally settling in Mulvane, KS where Judy worked for at the Villa Maria for more than 25 years, retiring in 2016.
During their time in Mulvane, Judy welcomed her grandchildren into the world. As focal points of their grandchildren’s lives, Judy and Jack loved spending time being grandparents and enjoyed watching them grow into curious children and young adults.
Judy enjoyed spending time with family and often traveled back to the Tulsa area to visit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Eubanks, Josalee Churchwell Ashcraft; grandmother, Lula Mae Ashcraft; aunt, Dolly Baxter
Judy is survived by her husband, Jack Shields Jr; children, Jackson D. Shields, Ashley A. Shields-Cassidy (Ryan), Steven R. Shields, Mickinzee J. Shields, Jackson H. Shields; grandchildren, Jax Cassidy, Maverick Cassidy; sister, Kelly (Michael) House
Visitation: Thursday, May 23rd, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Smith Mulvane Chapel 501 SE Louis Blvd Mulvane, KS 67110. Funeral Service: 10:00 am, Friday, May 24th, 2024 at 1st Baptist Church of Mulvane 1020 N. 2nd Street Mulvane, KS. Interment to follow at Littleton Cemetery, Mulvane.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
