Judy Benjamin

Judy Ann Benjamin, was born May 19, 1943 in Nevada, MO. She passed from this life on March 10, 2020. Judy attended elementary school in Walker, MO and graduated from Paseo High School of Kansas City, MO. She moved to Wichita, KS and worked many years as an executive secretary for Safelite Auto Glass and retired from Bombardier Learjet. Judy enjoyed her first years of retirement traveling with her friends and her husband, Carlos, whom she was married to for 25 years before his passing. She enjoyed reading, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles, playing dominoes with her friends, and watching and cheering on her grandchildren in any event they were involved in.

Judy was a follower of Christ, attended the Movement Church for several years and faithfully read her bible daily. She loved doing for others, spending time with and caring for her mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Benjamin Sr., father, Forrest Zaring, sister, Beverly Jo Zaring, and grandson, Justin Gray. She is survived by her mother, Ernestine Zaring of Wichita, children, Carlos Benjamin (Mary) of Wichita, Michael Benjamin (Janet) of Mesa, AZ, Dona Flynn (Patrick) of Wichita, Robin Valadez (Ray) of Colorado Springs, CO, Julie Quinn (James) of Wichita, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A celebration of life service for Judy will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 am at The Movement Church, 200 S. St. Clair, Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Benevolent Fund of The Movement Church, 200 S. St. Clair, Wichita, KS 67213 or the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 2998, Wichita, KS 67201-2998.
