Joyce Wade

February 11, 1923 — May 14, 2017

Heaven,

Please read the included care and handling instructions for Joyce Darlo Wade who joined you Sunday May 14th, 2017.

You will want to be gentle when caring for our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. This is not necessary as she only looks fragile as you will soon learn this is a technical maneuver on her part. With Grandma you will never need to guess what she is thinking, for she will tell you. Whether it is politically correct or not or even if it hurts your feelings, you will still hear about it. Like tattoos for example; she hates them and will let you know every times she sees yours, mine, or anyone else's.

Some things you will need are an abundance of; coffee, chocolate, ice cream, hot dogs, and jigsaw puzzles. Seriously, like A LOT. Speaking of coffee, for the love of all things holy do not wash her coffee cup, EVER. And don't call before noon because she won't be up. She most likely didn't go to bed until "around" 5am because she had to finish her puzzle.

If there are casinos in heaven make sure she keeps the dice on the table at all times. Just ask the City of Reno where she was banned for life.

I know "you can't take it with you", but I wish she could have brought her dog figurine collection with her. Because now we have to figure out what to do with a thousand ceramic dogs of all shapes and sizes.

While she is settling in she will remodel and redecorate every room in her place there in heaven. She will plant and then replant every open space of ground. She will do it herself too because ground keepers will not do it correctly.

She will drive too fast, she will patch holes in roofs when they leak. She will never cease to amaze you, we know she never ceased to amaze us. We wish you the best of luck heaven because we know you will have your hands full with her.

Oh, and you may need to separate her and her sister Agatha Bruner and her brothers Keith and Percy Denniston from each other... the four of them together is too much for any one place to handle.

Her son Rick (Doylene) Cowdin, step son Bill (Chana) Wade, grand daughter Sarah (William) Davis, great grandkids, brothers Dale and Don Dennison will miss her greatly. See you the next time Grandma
