Joyce Evelyn Rodgers

MULVANE – Rodgers, Joyce Evelyn, age 63, retired crew chief from Beech Aircraft, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011. Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Road, Derby. Funeral service 2pm Thursday at Mulvane United Methodist Church, 107 S. Central Ave, Mulvane. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Jeff and Ida Sade; husband, Ed Rodgers; brother, Wes Sade. She is survived by her children, Richard Martin, Kelly (Kim) Martin, De (Paul) Fox, Mark (Donna) Rodgers, Pam Davis and Brenda (Rob) Carrol; aunt, Lillie M. Hein; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Ron (Theresa) Sade and Don (Kathy) Sade; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; beloved pets, Teddy and Polly. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the church.
