Joyce Lawyer

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce H (Shaw) Lawyer (Haysville, Kansas), who passed away approximately February 20, 2023, at the age of 72. She is survived by her devoted and loving son Joe Armand and loving daughter & her family: Stephanie Langford, wife Cassie Langford and grandchild Scarlett Langford. She was preceded in death by her brother Wayne Shaw, mother Vivian Shaw and father George Shaw.

Joyce was a skilled crafter and enjoyed to crochet; she also enjoyed gardening for many years. She was a devoted mother who supported and nurtured her son and daughter their whole lives. For a small town girl born in Oklahoma, Joyce lived in many states during her life: Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado and California to name a few. One of her greatest joys was caring for her many, beloved cats throughout her life; they brought her comfort and purpose.

The family will be having a private, graveside service to be held in the upcoming days.
