27 at Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby, KS. Family will be present 4-6 pm. Funeral service 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, at Graceway Community Church, 200 S. St. Clair, Wichita. She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Kaufman; father, Dewey Phipps; son Jeremy Lawson; brother, Jim Phipps, and granddaughter, Hailey Bashline. Joyce is survived by her husband, Darryl Lawson; children Cherie (Chad) Yarbrough, Angela Trant, Patrick (Dru) Trant; father Harry Kaufman; step-mother, Lola Phipps; grandchildren Danielle Bashline, Noah Bashline, Nicholas Bashline, Drake Lawson, Seth Lawson, Nathaniel Lawson, Perry Trant; sisters Janet (Jim) Yates and Judy (Terry) Edwards. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Graceway Community Church.
