72, passed away Sunday, June 16th, 2024. He was born February 1st, 1952 to Joseph Sparks and Edna (Abernathy) Sparks in Arkansas City, Kansas.

Joseph was born and raised in Ark City, Kansas in the Sleeth District. He was a hard worker but also enjoyed singing, baseball, fishing and family. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family, including his dog, Minnie Pearl.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Edna Sparks; siblings, Virginia, Bonnie, Billy Joe, Jo Ann, Joyce, Leon, LeRoy, Carolyn Sue

Joseph is survived by his wife, Zeta Sparks; siblings, Patty Ann Sivits, Darrell Dean Sparks; children, Suvonia Sparks, Justin Ludlow (Mary), Amie Johnson (Scott), Austin Ludllow (Dailey); grandchildren, Zoey, Levi, Alisyn, Madison, Jayden, Weston, Jaden, Brooklynn; several nieces and nephews

Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Thursday, June 27th, 2024 at Smith Family Mortuary Chapel 1415 N. Rock Rd, Derby, Kansas 67037.
