Joseph C. Blanford passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife Grace; children, Sharon Stearns and husband Steve, Richard Blanford, Patricia Washko and her husband Phil; sister, Blanche; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church. 1636 E. Patriot Avenue, Derby. A memorial is established with the church.
