Jonathan Allen Crusan, age 60, of Wichita, retired Cessna Elementary School, USD 259 employee and former Grede Foundries and Cessna Aircraft employee, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Visitation 1-8 PM Thursday with family receiving friends 5-7 PM, Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Funeral service 1 PM Friday, July 11, Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur, Wichita. Jonathan is preceded in death by his parents, Albert & Muriel Crusan; brothers, Jospeh and David; and a sister, Maryanne Battcher. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Lavona; sons, Joshua and Christopher; daughters, Lauren and Isabelle, all of Wichita; brothers, Paul, South St. Paul, MN, Timothy, Burnsville, MN; sisters, Rebecca Ekstedt, North Branch, MN, Sharon Crusan, Oak Park Heights, MN, and Faith Chamberlain, Hastings, MN; grandchildren, Skyler, Kairi, Kayana and Leonidas.
