John F. Monahan

John F. Monahan, 82, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018. He was born October 1, 1935 to John L. and Mary (Casella) Monahan in Frontenac, KS. John retired from the Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office after 28 years of service and enjoyed traveling and RVing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, James Monahan and Joseph Monahan. John is survived by his wife of 63 years, Charlotte; children, John M. "Mike" Monahan and Patrick (Trish) Monahan; grandchildren, Bonita (Will) Cutcher, John R. (Summer) Monahan, Michelle (Matt) Glosser, David (Violet) Monahan, Daniel Monahan, James Monahan, Rebecca Monahan, Elisabeth Monahan, Ryan Monahan, Keith Monahan, Ben Nye, and Amanda Nye; sister, Marilyn (Mark) Reda; and 8 great-grandchildren. Celebration of Life: Sunday, July 22, 2018, from 1 to 4(ish) pm at the Haysville Community Building, 130 E. 2nd St. South, Haysville, KS.
