John Benjamin Head

John Benjamin Head, Jr., 66, went to be with the Lord Monday, March 13, 2017. Visitation 1-4 Friday, at Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca; rosary 6 p.m. Friday, and funeral mass 10 a.m. Saturday, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 645 N. 119th St. W. John spent 33 years in management at Bombardier Learjet before becoming a licensed real estate agent for the past 14 years, most recently for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Alliance. He was a 32nd Degree Master Mason and member of the Wichita Consistory of the Scottish Rite and the Midian Shrine, as well as an avid golfer and bowler. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Head. He was married to the love of his life, Georgene, for 46 years. She survives, as do children Erika Head, John B. Head III (Erin), Pamela McCoy (Dustin); siblings William Head (Donna), Kenneth Head (Delma), Shirley Clayton (Daryl); 4 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Shriner's Hospital for Children, Attn: Development Office, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
