John Dery

Dery, John, 84, retired Doctor of Optometry, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016. Memorial service Saturday, July 16, at Douglas Avenue Assembly of God, 4501 W. Douglas, Wichita. John was a veteran of the United States Army, and devoted member of the church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustaf and Bula Dery. Survived by his wife of 17 years, Rose Dery; children Michael Dery and Suzanne Dery; step-children Steve Duvall, Jack (Jan) Duvall, Rick (Cindy) Duvall, Sherri (Will) Nelson; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Douglas Avenue Assembly of God.
