John Russell Bush, Jr., 85, retired auto mechanic, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, December 10, at First Baptist Church of Haysville, 125 S. Delos. John was a stock car driver in his younger years, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Meta; daughter, Joanie Schulte; parents; three sisters; and beloved dog Mokie. Survived by children Teri Ranger, John (Staci) Bush III, Chuck Bush, Becky (Bill) Milner, Kim (Eric) Hays, Todd (Sharon) Bush, Wayne Schulte; sister Edna Blanchat; 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67217.
