John David Boyd

Boyd, John David, WSU Professor Emeritus of Art and Design, passed away October 25 after a short illness due to complications with Myasthenia Gravis. Born in London, Arkansas, January 22, 1939, John was raised in Iowa and California. He is a survived by his wife of 44 years, Lorraine; son Aaron (Jenny) of Wichita; daughters Sarah Blythe (Kurt) of Chapel Hill, NC and Alice Villegas (Diego) of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, and countless students. Memorial service to be held 11 AM, Monday, October 29, 2012 at University Friends Church, 1840 W. University, Wichita.
