Joffree Waylon Singleton, age 82, of Wichita, retired crew chief, Beech Aircraft, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Visitation 3:30 pm - 8 pm, Thursday, June 15, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, funeral service 2:00 pm Friday, June 16, both at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville. Joffree is preceded in death by his parents, John "Cal" and Ova May Singleton; 3 sisters; grandson, Christopher Benton; and his great-granddaughter, Andrea Brewer. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Patsy: sons, Wayne Singleton, of Jonesboro, AR, and Terry Lynn Dreiling (Sheryl), of Maize, KS; daughters, Carolyn Ann (Lloyd Allen Taylor), of Hatfield, AR, Mary Lois (Clark Duncan Smith, Jr.), of Wichita, Caren Sue (Robert William Bond), of Wichita, and Sharon Kay (James Allen Benton), of Wichita; honorary grandson, Chad Davis; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
