74, went home to be with the LORD on Monday, January 1st, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W. 15th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67203.

Joe was born January 5th, 1949 in Lawrence, Kansas to Herbert Coleman and Emma Chanel Coleman. He moved to Wichita in 1973. While there, he worked in construction and at Boeing for 22 years. He loved fishing, working on classic cars, gardening, target shooting and dearly loved his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Larry Jackson. Joe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Evelyn; six children, Joeatta French, Kimberly Coleman, Dodie Jackson, Donna Drouhard, Rosalee Stockham; 14 grandchildren, Miranda Burris, Brandy Jackson, Amy Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Hollie Hewitt (Kareem), Savannah Cohoon, Ariana Peabody (Gabe), Slade House, Rachel Stockham-Boivin (Chris), Lara Stockham, Catelyn Strader (Dustin), Steve Coffey, Patricia Coffey and Chad Hewitt; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and by his beloved dog, Katie Ann.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W 15th St N, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
