Joe Brooks

Joe D. Brooks, 74, retired truck driver for Ritchie, died Friday, July 31, 2015. Survivors: sons: Kenny Brooks and Allen Brooks, both of Chanute; daughters, Lorie Evers (Dwayne) of Clearwater, Rhonda Flippin of Sykeston, MO; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Merle Brooks (Imogene) of Chanute, Sandra Sturgeon of Inman, Sharon Matlock (Herb) of Chanute. Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Hazel Lowe Brooks and sister, Marilyn Munger. Viewing: 1-8pm Thursday with family greeting friends from 6-8pm, Culbertson-Smith Mortuary, 115 S. Seneca, Wichita. Graveside service: 11am Friday, August 7, 2015, Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery, Chanute, KS. A memorial is established with Shriner's Children's Hospital.
