Jody Crittenden passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2021, at the age of 63. She will be greatly missed as a wife, mother, grandmother and most of all best friend. Jody was preceded by her mother Brenda, son Monroe, and is survived by her father Ron, husband Donald, sister Penny, her son Jonathan, and her daughters Jacquelynn, Annette, and Judy. Along with them she is survived by her 14 grandchildren, Blake, Samantha, Emerson, Ashley, Kaeci, Trace, Trevor, Kyle, Chaz, Chase, Skylar, Trystn, Daykoda, Mikalah and 3 great grandchildren who are Wellington, Charleston, and Elaine. She loved all if them beyond measure.
The world will be a little duller without her bright smile and giving heart. Jody’s sense of humor and honest way of approaching life is what her loved ones will miss most, whether it was making sure that everyone was doing things her way, (the right way, and you’d better not argue about it), or her unending support for her favorite football team on Sundays.
She was a keen purveyor of a great buy and could never pass up a great sale. She loved not only to collect but to restore any thing she deemed ‘vintage’ and then flip them because she loved the thrill of the hunt more than the items she was buying.
She was the best of friends to those that knew her and was always there with a guiding hand and heart when anyone needed one. She will be missed and remembered by more people than she would have believed possible, and families for generations to come will benefit from her light.
