Joan P. Winans

Wichita - Winans, Joan, age 82, went to be with her Lord on April 25, 2018. Visitation 11am-1pm Monday, April 30th; Funeral 1pm that afternoon, both at Parkview Baptist Church, 3430 S. Meridian Wichita, KS 67217. Graveside service will be held at 11am Tuesday, at Girard Cemetery, Girard, KS. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Winans; parents, Leslie and Edna Johnson; 4 brothers. She is survived by her children, Harvey Winans, Betty (Dennis) Johnson, Charles (Agnes) Winans; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Hasty, Nadine Magby, Patsy Woosypiti. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is with the American Diabetes Association.
