Joan K. Hallowell, age 70, of Haysville, retired co-owner Hallowell Painting, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. Funeral service 2 PM Thursday, March 5, with visitation beginning at Noon, Smith Mortuary, 1415 N. Rock Rd., Derby. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth. Survivors: sons, Terry, Kenny and Jimmy; daughters, Melissa Fulkerson and Michelle Hallowell; brothers, Joe, Scott, Darrell and Leon Hallowell, and Gary Peredoe; sisters, Carol Peredoe, Star Schwinn and Tammy Ward; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
