Jo Lynn Blood

Jo Lynn Blood passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Jo Lynn was known by her close loved ones as Jo or JoJo, and Jodie by her closest friends.

Jo Lynn was born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1947 to Herb and Florence Reay. Jo Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as her beloved husband, Gerald Blood.

Jo Lynn attended Campus High School in Haysville, KS, and Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Jo Lynn lived a full life tending to her family, the family Orchard, as well as many other businesses and volunteer ventures.

Jo Lynn is survived by her only son, Jeff (Jessica) Blood, and grandchildren Madison, Mallory, and Emmy. Stepchildren – Jennifer Blood (Julie), Lizanne Guthrie (Gil), Gilman Blood (Martha), Katrina Blood (Clinton), and grandchildren Chandler, Bailey, Jack, and Suzannah; as well as many very close lifelong and new friends.

Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery in Wichita, Kansas, with a Celebration of Life to follow at Blood Orchards. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.
