Haysville- Williams, Jimmy Dean Sr.
Beloved husband, father and grandfather, went to Heaven from his home in Haysville, Kansas on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born In Ponca City, Oklahoma on July 20, 1937 to Maurice and Opal Williams, who preceded him in death. He was a retired electrical engineer (OSU) who had worked for Phillips Petroleum Company, McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed photography, woodworking, gardening, scouting (Scoutmaster), square dancing, working with children in church, and ham radio (W5ZCF then K5NN). He married his wife, Nancy Nichols Williams, on March 29, 1975 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He is survived by his spouse; his sons, Jimmy Williams, Jr. and Robert Williams; 8 grandchildren - Harley, Blake, Elizabeth, Alexandria, Johnathan, Benjamin, Thomas and Peter. "PaPa, we love you and miss you!" He is also survived by two siblings, Patricia Patzkowski and Steve Williams. He served in the Air Force in the Mideast in the 69th Mobile Radio Group. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Tuesday April 25, 2017 with family present from 6-8 pm at Smith Mortuary, Derby, Kansas. A graveside service will be held at the Powell Cemetery's Pavillion, Hominy, Oklahoma at 1 pm on Wednesday April 26, 2017. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 125 S.
